Time Crunched

Hello,

Sorry, I don’t have much time this week. There are a lot of things going on at work. I’ve seen Karen a couple more times through it all. I promise next week I’ll let you in on the stuff I hinted at the first week.

Clear Out Gray Skies

Hello,

It's another chilly, gray day in Wisconsin. I guess it's safe enough to say what state I'm in. I'm a bit uncomfortable in saying what town or city I live in. I know it's probably easy enough for any half-decent hacker or even script-kiddies to find out, but it feels like if I don't say anything about it, then at least it's not my fault. I don't want to use one of those check-in services, and really, come on, this is Wisconsin after all. Don't jump down my throat, it's not like it's New York or California, and yes it could always be worse. I'm as proud a Cheesehead as the next man.

It's been a relatively quiet week. I went out to see the new Chet Dawson comedy but ran into some friends and we ended up in Prozzly's (local bar) instead. I wasn't paying attention and missed them talking about it on Gabbl--I wouldn't have missed it if they put it on Socialmabob. So, I'm at the bar and this looker comes up and asks me what I'm drinking. Jerry on the other side of me turned away and then left. I thought it was kind of suspicious--Jerry's a pranker so it's not hard--so I proceeded carefully. To make a long story short, she was on the level. Her name is Karen. I'm supposed to go out with her in just a bit. I'd better get going.

The On Ramp

Hello,

My name is Joshua Gavin Rhoads. You can call me Josh if you want to in the comments. I decided to start this blog now because there are things I want to tell the world. I have to say though that some of them are out of the ordinary. Before I get to the weird stuff I thought it might be best if I let you all get to know me first. We can ease into the other in good time. There's no hurry, is there?

I like the usual stuff, movies full of gunfire and explosions, loud music--my thing is little indie bands playing alternative stuff, if anyone calls it alternative anymore--and I like computer stuff and gadgets. I spend a fair bit of my nights playing the Tomb Knights MMO. I have a level 52 Thaumaturge and I retired a level 100 Axe Raider because I wanted to try my hand at magic. I have an old second computer on most of the time where I keep an eye on Socialmabob status updates and a click every now and then in the Spirit Capture app. I'm just a regular guy.

I hope that you'll come back to keep up with me or even subscribe over there on the right. Thanks and keep the peace.
